This is my Year 12 major work for Design and Technology. This is a retainer cleaner which I identified not only as a personal need but the need of youths and young adults which have been through having braces to retainers which require daily cleaning. I extracted a UV light bulb and vibration motor from an iPhone which both contribute to the enhanced and automated cleaning of retainers.
This is Fallingwater or Kaumann House designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It was built in 1939 and is situated in southwest Pennsylvania. The fact that the house was built over a waterfall makes this piece of work interesting. The unique overlapping of platforms which separate the stories of the house also contributes to my interest on the house.
This is a photograph that I took during my trip to Tasmania after HSC. The picture of the bridge was not a main attraction in the tour that I took but was nearby an old village we stopped for lunch. I walked around the village and decided to take this photo noticing how beautiful the view was with the sky reflected in the river's waters along with the bridge.
